My weblog has undergone another make over. After only a few weeks of using the iTheme WordPress template, I’ve decided to go with the GlossyBlue WordPress template. I’ve modified the GlossyBlue template, so that it is easier on the eyes. You can view the original design here.
Another reason I changed it is because I can’t stand Mac’s! Forgive me, but I don’t know what I was thinking. 🙁
Ever had one of these days?
I’m a huge Seattle SuperSonics fan — ever since they won their one and only NBA Championship back in 1979. It has been a painful road ever since. There have been a few bright spots along the way. One memorable one was during the Gary Payton / Shawn Kemp era of the mid 90’s, when they played the Chicago Bulls in the 1996 NBA Championship Final. Unfortunately, the SuperSonics lost the series 4-2. As of now, there is still doom in gloom in Sonicland, because the current owner of the SuperSonics plans to move the team to Oklahoma City or Kansas City, if the city of Seattle doesn’t come up with a plan to build a new downtown arena for the SuperSonics.
Here’s a view of the high-rise apartment building (marked with “A”) that I’m located at in Chicago. The picture looks a little grainy because it was a taken about a mile away from the top of the Sears Tower, the tallest building in Chicago and the USA! The building marked “B” is the AON Center, which the 2nd tallest building in Chicago. It is also the 3rd tallest building in the USA, behind the Empire State Building, which is the 2nd tallest. The area marked “C” is the famous Navy Pier on Lake Michigan.
Reminds me of someone who can’t make up their mind of which driver to use. You know who you are 😉 !
I think this only applies when we adjust our clocks “ahead” by one hour. Bummer!
