The man they call “I.T.”, who hit a fade-away jumper in the closing seconds of overtime to stun 15th ranked Arizona in the Pac-10 Tournament Championship game. This win gave UDub an automatic bid into the NCAA tourney. By winning in such dramatic fashion, UDub proved that they can win in crunch-time against a ranked opponent.

In 2008, the Huskies were 0-12 and possibly the worse football team in the NCAA. In 2010, the Huskies are Holiday Bowl champions. They deafeated the heavily favored Nebraska Cornhuskers, 19-7. In Jake Locker’s last game as a collegian, the Washington Huskies won their first bowl game since 2002.

In what will go down as one of the biggest upsets in Washington Huskes football history, the Dawgs took down the heavily favored and #3 ranked Trojans, 16-13, in Seattle. In a hard-fought game, the surprising Husky defense did its part to stifle the USC offensive juggernaut.

Now presenting, the University of Washington Men’s Basketball team – the 2008-09 Pacific-10 Conference Champions. This is UDub’s first outright title since 1953. The Huskies beat their in-state rival, WSU Cougars, 67-60, in Seattle.
