  • My trip to China

    In May 2017, I traveled to Suzhou, China on a business trip.  At the end of my trip I stayed a few days in Shanghai, which is where Pudong Airport is located.  The weather was great and, amazingly, there were blue skies!  Here are some pics I took of the Shanghai area.

  • Hello WordPress, again!

    After not doing any WordPress updates for more than five years, I’ve now updated my WordPress site to use Version 4.7.3. Furthermore, I updated my WordPress database from MySQL4 to MySQL5. You can read more details of this update in the blog post that follows.

  • Teddy’s walk for pet cancer

    Back on November 8, 2015, Teddy did his part to help find a cure for pet cancer.  In Long Beach’s Shoreline Village, we participated in the 9th Annual Nationwide K9K Pet Cancer Awareness Walk.  All human participants got a shirt and all pet participants got a blue bandanna.

    I’ve been playing the WordBrain app on my iPhone for the past few months and it has gotten me hooked.  This is a single-player find-the-word game that you can play at your own leisure.  You can download it from the App Store by clicking this link.

  • Unbeliveable

    I was confused.  I felt hallow.  I felt empty.  In someways, I didn’t know which way to feel.  On January 18, 2015, Seattle played Green Bay for the 2014 NFC Championship.  For the first 57 mins, the defending champion Seahawks didn’t play like they did in the previous 10 weeks.
